Owen Marsh writes short literary fiction about work and its ending. "Equal Temperament" follows a piano tuner through a final house call, and, like most of his stories, it takes place almost entirely inside one afternoon and one small technical task. He is drawn to the moment a craft becomes something a person used to do.
